Anybody who posts on Free Republic.com, the right-wing "equivalent" to DU. Often used to refer to anybody with Free Rpublic-like sentiments whom you might encounter in the real world.

website, the most rabidly right wing website out there.

Think if a bunch of die hard Rush Limbaugh fans with absolutely no critical thinking skills got together and put up a website and said crap like, "thank god we have Bush in the White House, a man who believes in prayer . . ." etc. and everybody piles on and says, "amen, sister" or "ditto that," well, that's what it is.

They are notorious for getting ahold of names of peace activists and harrassing them by e-mail or contacting their boss at work to cause trouble.

Another pass-time for people of their ilk is voting on an online poll, going into their cookie file and deleting cookies, and going back to vote again and again. That way, they can make it look like there is more support for the right wing than there really is.

If they had any money or brains, they might be dangerous, but as it is they're just mainly mean-spirited pains in the ass.

I've not been here long, and already I've been accused twice. Never mind that I was banned from FR the first time I posted over there; got in a discussion defending gay rights, and I was soon gone.

Unfortunately there are many on the extreme far left who are merely the silly mirror image of those on the extreme far right. They see things in black and white, but from opposite directions.

around here long enough that most people are really trying to figure out the truth and don't have a dogmatic position that you must agree with.

The times that I've been at FR, I've never really seen discussions where people are debating one side or the other. Anybody who deviates from the party line--like you did (and me too)--just gets revoked and the Stepford site keeps on chugging . . .
