6. I heard that Republicans paid people to collect signatures...

for Nader, and that many signers were not told unless they read the fine print what they were signing. Plus, I heard that 17 of the 122 petitioners were convicted felons. Does anyone know what Arizona's rules are regarding reinstating the franchise to felons released from prison? If felons are not allowed to vote, then the signatures they collected most likely will not be valid. This is a sticky issue for me, because I believe really strongly that felons should have their voting rights restored after they have served their time. But if Arizona law does not agree with me, then at least it would decrease Nader's chances of being on the ballot.

7. The Petition Gatherers were felons

Felons were collecting the petitions, rather than signing them. One of the petition gathererers had been convicted of FORGERY.

9. Interesting - so what was the event?

Yeah -- this is real, it is the same guy. That picture was taken tonight (Tuesday) at an event in Steele Park. Several witnesses were there. I couldn't believe the guy was so bold as to just show up and be with the Reps.

Or is it possible that there is a completely reasonable explanation for this that is being hidden behind that innocuous little phrase "an event at Steel Park"?

So what was the event? Were other political parties there with their own tables? Perhaps the Green's table is just off to the left of frame?

In fact what was a Dem doing taking photos at a Republican event - if that's what it was?

By the way, even if this guy IS working with the Republicans, what is the big deal? I mean it's not like Dems haven't been caught doing the same thing! For example:



I mean these Dems helped Bush to commit war crimes, surely what this guy is doing can't be that bad...
