http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/latestnews/index.php?id=26

New York- On Thursday June 24th, 10 cities across the country will host benefit screenings of Academy Award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore’s controversial new documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, winner of the coveted Palme d’Or at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. The film will be shown in New York, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, Denver, Portland, Boston, and Seattle (all at 7:30 PM local time). All proceeds from the screenings will go to benefit local non-profit organizations such as “September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows” and “Military Families Speak Out”.

2. That's wonderful!
The organizations chosen are the perfect ones to benefit from the movie, both in it's showing and in monies donated, imo.

7. I was given a ticket for tomorrow for the one in Denver
Hmmmm, I was told it was a "free preview"........ interesting..... not billed as a "benefit".

Now...... I'm wondering who bought the block of tickets, or if this is something different...

Interesting....

9. I bought tickets to the Denver Preview tomorrow...
the e-mail I got said it was a benefit for Deep Dish Television,
(the nation’s first grassroots satellite network linking producers and programmers, independent video makers, and activists.)

Maybe I'll see you there...
