Ron Reagan compares Bush to Osama!
On Larry King tonight, he was asked what he meant by "wearing religion on his sleeves".... he answered (paraphrasing), "when someone asked Bush if he took advice from his father on the Iraq war, Bush answered no, but said he took advice from a higher being.... I get worried when I hear that, that's what Osama does, pray to God or Allah before going to war"

Oh my gosh, this was awesome..... he more or less said he is voting for Kerry and that his father would "not have gone after Saddam, he would have gone after Osama"!

WOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need this guy at our convention.... better yet, as a VP!!!

Oh, I just know the right wing will also label him crazy ...
They think only the right wing fundies (and a few Jews - but only as long as they are needed by the right) are "the chosen people."

I'm so proud of Ron Reagan for leveling with the American people. Heaven knows Wolf Blitzer and Paula Zahn have drank the kool-aid.

6. Good
You know what the best part of this is? I bet the Freepers heads are exploding right now.

I just saw a Bush ad on Fox News. It is on in the other room. I heard Reagan say "Mr. Gorbachev (sp?) tear down this wall." I then ran into the living room to watch the rest of the commercial. It then showed Bush with the megaphone at ground zero. It pretty much equated fighting communism with fighting terror. At the end it said something like, "John Kerry is wrong again."

I don't blame Ron for bashing Bush. If any politician used the death of my father for political gain I would be pissed too. I bet Nancy isn't too thrilled either.

What a horrendous ad. Just appallingly tasteless, with no point.

16. On The Jon Stewart Show, They Pulled This Apart
funny - said thing like, so tearing down the wall made us go to Vietanm - just pointing out that none of these events have anything to do with the other.

9. What a line
First, when Nick Berg was beheaded, the assholes for Bush wanted to use him for their political ends. Then his father, Michael, blamed the Bush administration for what his tragedy, and likened them to the terrorists. Next, President Reagan passed on and the same assholes tried to tie themselves up in his mantle. Now Reagan's son says that Bush "Talked to The Father" when he started the war in Iraq, the same rational that Osama uses. When the assholes talked about Berg, I said I agreed with his father. Now, when they talk about Reagan, I'll say I agree with his son.

15. Ron P. Reagan Straps it On!!
The guy just lays the truth out there. He needs to be elected to something. He's got the old man's communication skills, but he's on our side. Awesome interview on Larry King.

13. LMAO! Reagan's amazin'!
Dunno 'bout VP material, though. We need to win the South, not just the middle-of-the roaders who, once they see Fahrenheit 9/11, will vote for our guy.

BTW: A hearty welcome to DU, kaiso! Great post!
