As I am still holding out hope that it will be Wes Clark....
It seems that the VP will indeed be Gep.

Some people still have dark-room-activity fantasies about
Edwards or McCain....but it won't happen.

I had been holding out hope and still do , that Kerry will come to his
senses and not be manipulated by the media's attempts to destroy his campaign.

Gep is the safe choice.....but I hope Kerry has the guts to give Clark the Nod.

I would say that I wouldn't vote for Kerry if he didn't choose Clark, or if he Chose McCain or Edwards....but I would just be saying it to get a few people riled up just for spite.

Truth is, whoever he picks, I will still cast the Vote for Kerry.
It's not like Kerry needs a puppet master whispering into his ear what he should say to the media. Nor does Kerry need someone to "help" him be president.....Maybe Kerry will just pick someone who is a friend he can trust to be the Prez in his stead......The pick , no matter who it is, will defintely say alot about Kerry.....but Probably not what the Media is going to sell the public.

I have no problem with this...Gep needs to get his Daughters involved with Kerry's on the campaign trail. The man has a wonderful supportive family.

Problems I do have are that the guy like Kerry voted For the Iraq War....but his experience in congress and knowledge of foreign policy and domestic labor issues make him an asset.

In the rust belt areas like Penn. Mich. Ohio....and in the heartland of Miss., Ark. and Iowa...Gep just may be the one to swing it our way.

Kerry can still hint at or out-right announce during the convention key positions in his cabinet from candidates that he has vetted during the VP selection process. This would at least shake things up a little with what could be perceived as a boring Washington Insider Democratic Ticket.

If Kerry is comfortable with Gephardt then, guess what so am I.
