No war crimes immunity for US Troops.
Are the Bushists trying to throw Graner and English to the dogs so Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Ashcroft can make a getaway?

1. Not to worry, the US (bush admin) just gave the US "immunity" itself....
now how's that for fixing the problem, eh!

The Headline is beyond misleading. It leaves the impression that the Security Council caved. Disgusting.

2. So they're redefining sovereignty, too.
"The rule of law in nations besides the US, so long as they behave in accordance with the US's sovereign right to do whatever the fuck it wants to do wherever and whenever it fucking well wants to do it."

3. Yep, there will be US soldiers and Iraqis dying for a long time if bush...
gets back in. No international body is going to help given this latest surreal move. I am still trying to lift my chin off the table at this one.

4. I hate to say it, but these bastards will never have to face
justice on this earth. Never! That's a painful pill to swallow. But they're going to maybe get their ass kicked in November. Then they'll lie as low as members of corporate boards can for a few years while their minions breed scandals against Democrats. And one day, some fat-assed conservative pundit will publish a 1,000 page volume explaining why George W. Bush was the most underrated "president" in American history, and his slightly sullied reputation will be dusted off. And he'll die in the middle of a neo-neocon adminstration which will arrange to honor him with the name of a month and a portrait on the $20 million dollar bill (which will be worth shit by then, anyway).

But we'll all be dead, so who cares! :toast:

5. LOL Totally agree with one exception....
I don't think any board would have him, he will be back to wherever he REALLY came from picking hairs out of his ass as he keeps trying and failing to say Abu Graib.

6. Oh, I think he's done for.
The best he can hope for is a sinecure like the Carlyle Group. If Moon stops trying own African-American Democrats, maybe Bush jr. can give multimillion dollar speeches to third world audiences about what a prince of peace Father is.
