Dennis Hopper is bush supporter
I recently heard him say this on an interview on HBO with Bob costas. He said he voted for him and is sticking by him again even though his wife supports Kerry. I was quite surprised by this when you think of him in movies like Apocalypse Now and Easyrider.

3. Dennis doesn't remember those movies.
In fact, he's done so many drugs he doesn't remember the bulk of what he's been in.

7. Bastard
More like his Paris Trout role.
I don't care what anyone says, after I say that movie, I couldn't then and still can't now distinguish between actor and role. Anyone who can play a role like that with such relish has to be partly evil. Someone should ask Christopher Walken who he's supporting to find out if all the crazies are for Bush or if this is just a random thing.

There is reference to the interview here.

Scroll down a ways or do a search for "Hopper" to find where this is mentioned

And here there are 2 other links that talk about his recent turnaround in supporting bush.

23. ALSO is in Franken's book "rush limbaugh is a big fat idiot"

This isn't news to anyone who read Al Franken's "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot", which describes a party where Hopper comes up to Newt Gingrich and tells him what a great man he is. (Gingrich responds that he liked Hopper in 'Blue Velvet'. Franken writes, "I felt like I was *in* 'Blue Velvet'.")

I don't know why he would be raising money for kerry, because he did say that in the interview he supports bush if I can find transcripts of that I will post the link.

22. Nice comeback
Kerry draws a lot of his Southern California support from Hollywood, where his bundlers include actor Dennis Hopper, Kenny "Babyface'' Edmonds, Paramount Pictures chairwoman Sherry Lansing and director William Friedkin.

His wife gives lots of money to the Kerry campaign at the same time Dennis Hopper gives his support to bush from what I've heard.

26. So is Doris Day, despite her animal causes
Doris Day has some advice for President Bush

Doris Day chatted with President George W. Bush about their mutual love of dogs when he phoned to congratulate the iconic performer and animal welfare advocate on receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. The Prez told Doris that he's an animal person, and talked about his Scottish terrier Barney and about the critters on his ranch.

And then Day advised the president that he'd get more votes if he'd quit hunting.

She tells us that her sentiments about Bush's hunting won't stop her from voting for him. "I'm pulling for him every step of the way," she makes clear.

Day, who starred with Ronald Reagan in two films, remained friends with the Gipper through his presidency. Like him, she switched from Democrat to staunch Republican - part of a Hollywood social set she recalls including Jimmy and Gloria Stewart, George Burns and Gracie Allen, and Jack and Mary Benny.
