1. Great interview. One memorable thing he said was:

"Terry, I could say that you're good or your bad. Either way, I'm not saying something about you. I'm saying something about me...I'm just grateful that I didn't have the obsession of hatred that my opponents had."

I'm paraphrasing.

It's an interesting commentary on the nature of criticism and political attacks. It's one thing to have a competition of ideas, but to go around only judging people's characters, and doing so obsessively, says a great deal about that criticizer's lack of ideas.
