12. Me too.
I heard Randi talking about it and I couldn't believe my ears so I had to check it out myself.

I actually hope it stays up. It makes the Bushies look completely bonkers. Not like that is anything new...

26. the nazi stuff was from a moveon contest
it was one of the ads that was submitted but did not win. Bush is using it to attempt to show how 'over-the-top' and 'wild-eyed' we've become.

Unfortunately for him, it just shows how clueless he actually is.

5. I did, the guy seemed incredibly nervous.
He kept apologizing and stuttering, tried to say what the "intended" message was... stuttered some more, apologized again.

Betcha the ad will be gone by this weekend.

9. Is it just me, or will this ad potentially help the Dems?
After all, everything Gore, Dean, Gephardt, Moore, et al, said in those clips was absolutely true! And the comparison to Hitler can't bode well for the Bush capmaign....

13. And they yelled at Move On
For not chiding a CONTESTANT for submitting an ad comparing Bush to Hitler.

Now the entire BUSH CAMPAIGN is backing an ad comparing the entire Dem party to the Nazi Party.

Thanks Karl Rove, this ad will truly display the complete ignorance and desperation of the Repug Party.

Its the best Democratic ad I've seen---oh, and my husband thought it was a clip from Farenheit 911 from the other room!!!

Then they put up a picture of dimsun looking lost. I can't believe they have clips of him being called a liar. You never show a political shot of the opposition bashing you. It never works! It's like running a negative ad against yourself. Jeesh! These guys are pathetic.

18. What I'm wondering is...
...How could they use Michael Moore's Oscar speech in an ad while MM himself couldn't even use it on his own DVD?

Did anyone clear rights for this stuff?

Otherwise, it's a great ad. If you're trying to elect Kerry. I hope they put it on TV.

19. Priceless
Man, they're doing our work for us over at the bush* campaign, eh?

The interesting thing is that the clips of pissed off Dems really tap into the current zeitgeist in this country. The rethugs are fools if they try to brush it off or soothe it away with photos of the chimp staring vacantly and assurances that "This is not the time for pessimism or rage."

"Fuck yourself," smirk, it is EXACTLY the time for pessimism over failed policy in Iraq, and rage over the theft of our democracy by a court-installed regime. More Americans voted for Gore in 2000, and WE ARE PISSED. Everyone I know is fucking FURIOUS that the loser of the 2000 election has, since his appointment to the presidency, managed to take a truly great and wonderful nation and flush it down the toilet.

I say we give 'em wild-eyed hell in November.

21. This ad is great, I love that he totally morphs into Hitler...only
a repug could put an ad out like this and get away with it. Is Bush certain this marketing company is working for him? And what's with the lame pessimism crap?LOL That's what I look for in a leader, someone who is a cheerleader! Bush needs to get over his cheer leading days at Yale and learn that cheers don't change the game if the players on your team SUCK!

29. That was from the Move On ad contest
It was meant to show how 'over-the-top' we've become. Move On chose a different ad to win, but the right was very upset by it, so upset that they have spending money to make sure all of America can see it.

They have a winning strategery, I'm sure. /sarcasm

32. Is there a hatred of Gore?
Is Gore hated as much as Clinton is by republicans? The clip starts off with Gore saying something to the effect of "how dare they drag the good name of the United States through the mud" (referring to the torture of Iraqis at Abu Ghraib).

I didn't think there was such a hatred of Gore. If there isn't, then the ad will probably work against them. More viewers will be likely to pay attention to the words that Gore was shouting.

34. Giovanni's Stock Quotes!
Al Gore 91.29 +8.23 +9.9%
John Kerry 93.42 +4.61 +5.2%
Michael Moore 121.60 N/C N/C
Richard Gephardt 67.28 +32.25 +92.1%

A huge rise in Dick Gephardt's stock value. His "miserable failure" comment should be played over and over and over and over.
