Bu$h implodes; Cheney explodes.
Bu$h stammers and stalls, looking for the right word ("Abu Garref .../ .../ .../ situation"). Cheney finds the words at his very lip tips, "Fuck you Senator Pat Leahey (D)." "Fuck you." Great words from the #2 guy in the chain-of-hell. These guys are on-the-run. Scared little critters, Bu$h and Cheney.

1. y'all keep leaving out a little stutter in that Bush Quote...

4. I could swear

that * was trying to say "scandle" and then decided that that was the
wrong thing to say... and so seached and searched and came up with
"s... situation". But I could swear he was about to say "Abu Gayruf
scandal"... really.

6. Yep..there was a definite extra "S" before "situation"...

....Someone wrote in another post that Bush's speaking abilities have deteriorated since 2000. Someone should do a study of video and document this ... some kind of linguistic study would be really interesting.

...so lemme axe yew...

What is "gareff"? Where is that coming from? What is it he is trying to say whenever he has to say Abu Graib? I figure some sort of deeply repressed truth is trying to escape.

...You know, if you're going to make a mistake about something, it's better to be consistent than just all over the board. He's trying...but he just can't get it down.

3. They are scared
shitless. No other way to say it. If they were supremely confident of the way things were going, Crash-cart would've brushed Leahey off with a glib retort. But such profanity from the VP is a sign that they're feeling the heat big time.

It was too close to my face for me to see it. It is the war crimes that are shaking the regime. The war crimes! That is why Cheney is so testy. That is why Bu$h stares into space more than normal. These fuckers realize thet the jig is up. Watch and wait.

18. But the big difference is
that Cheney understands he's in big trouble, Bush on the other hand won't know until someone tells him. If ignorance was a country Bush would be it's king.

26. Every day their little house of cards unfolds a bit more...
though at this point, they're dangerous, because they're cornered and they know it, and they know that the only way to escape prison or worse for everyone is to do something drastic.

Unless, of course, the dems can come on strong enough to totally implode them all and get them all so uber-anxious that they can't come up with a giant plan to fuck the world.

They're not so much the cornered mother protecting her young who will sacrifice everything to preserve them; they're more like a cornered child who will put up a hell of a fight if you give 'em a chance, but if you come in fasst enough will just fold and shut down. Because these guys are evil, but they aren't clever enough to make it work for 'em.

But I'll give them one thing, they're dogged and relentless. They tried the shit under Nixon and didn't get very far. They learned, they adapted, and tried it again with Reagan, and did a lot better. And this time, they've come close to pulling it off.

All the more reason to make sure NO republican sits in the white house for 20 years, to make sure all these evil f-ing clowns are dead.

33. As WakeMeUp said, won't happen and can't happen
with the repukes still in charge of everything.

I agree, it would be most helpful, because especially if Chimpo loses the election, he still has two months in which we will HAVE to live in utter fear of what that little toddlerish shitbrained mind will do in a gigantic tantrum. And I don't mean that in a funny way - that little SOB will come up with something drastic, possibly deadly, once he loses.

For the safety of the world, he really SHOULD be removed on the day of election if he loses.

But it won't happen.

So all we can do is grin and bear it for the two months that the evil fuck has to enact whatever "terrorist" attack they've been holding up their sleeves.

"The very concept of sin comes from the bible. Christianity offers to solve a problem of its own making! Would you be thankful to a person who cut you with a knife in order to sell you a bandage? -Dan Barker ('Losing Faith in Faith')"

"Naturally, since the Sumerians didn't know what caused the flood anymore than we do, they blamed the gods. That's the advantage of religion. You're never short an explanation for anything. -Isaac Asimov (in essay 'The Last Man on Earth')"
