I have just viewed the video of the beheading of Kim Sun-il.
Available for viewing from Information Clearing House:

I've looked at it twice and don't particularly want to see it again
right now, but once again, we are not watching a live beheading.
There is a time reference on the film, and at the start Kim,
blindfolded, is begging for his life (this is clearly live, imo).
There are three masked gunmen behind him. Then there is a sudden
jump of four minutes in time, two more masked men have appeared,
and one is reading from a paper in Arabic. Kim is motionless and
silent until he is beheaded. I believe he is already dead during
the second part of the video.

I have no idea what this means, but for whatever reason, it is
certainly not a live execution. It is interesting that he is
dressed identically to Nick Berg.

1. In Saudi, before the gov. executes they give a person tranquilizers.
This could explain the docile victims?

I don't know that militants would give a tranq, but it might make their job *easier*

SIGH.

4. But unless it nearly stops his heart

no tranquilizer will cause the body to NOT spray blood everywhere
when the major arteries in the neck are cut. Think Kill Bill,
only more so.

3. Thank God.
As awful as it is that he was killed at all, the thought that he was at least already dead before the beheading is some comfort. My heart is with his parents. That photo of his father's face haunts me.

The blood of all these people and the desolation of their families belong on Bush and his administration of killers.
