Does Anyone Know -- Is Moore Donating Anything to Families?
Just curious. It sounds like something he would do, and I had heard something about him saying he would send one of his books or DVDs to soldiers stationed overseas or something like that.

Does anyone have any idea? My mom was asking me. She's not sure if she's going to see Fahrenheit 9/11 in the theater -- I think if he was donating some portion to families of soldiers or families of 9/11 victims or whatever, that would push her over the edge and she'd go see it.

2. There's a link on his website
for sending a copy of "Bowling for Columbine" or "Dude, Where's My Country?" to any soldier stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan. Mike's website:

3. Knowing Moore
he is. And I think it would be a wonderful gesture. I just don't like the way he is always asked that question by the media, and wingnuts like Coulter, Hannity, you name it, never are.

4. Yes MM donates to families
He's asked a lot whether he donates to the subjects of his films , and his answer is yes. For each of the subjects in his films, corporate turncoats," Roger and Me ", he donated a portion of the proceeds to the unemployed families in Detroit. The same for "Bowling foe Columbine " and for "farenheit 9-11" he is donating to veterans programs.MM does need a stypend to live on. he as his wardrobe shows, is not a heavy burden on this planet, and lives simply. He trully loves America, and wants to do his part to return America to the moral leader of the world.
