Unbelievable...Full House for F9/11 in Repuke infested...
Fort Wayne, Indiana. I just got back from the movie and it was magnificent. Applause throughout and at the end when Numbnuts is doing the "Fool me once..." thing, some guy yells out "Spit it out dumbass" which brought the theater to its feet with a thunderous applause and lots of "Yeah...Yeah...Yeah"! :headbang:

2. It was pretty packed down here in Arlington, Tx at the 4:20 showing
All the good seats were taken, only the front 2 rows had any left. I just wish that woman behind me would have found a way to quiet her toddler after the first half hour.

3. WOW ... this could become ...
...the new "Rocky Horror" cult film ... Everyone could chant the stock responses: "spit it out dumbass!" They can show Fahrenheit 9/11 every night at midnight from now until Nov. 2!

8. Should I bring toast?
Can't wait until the theater learns to chant, in unison, "Asshole!"

12. Packed house here on the Central Coast of California
The theater holds 2,000. I missed the 2:15 show; when I got there for the 5:00 pm show the line went around the block. Was very glad I bought my tickets earlier in the week. When we left, there was another line around the block for the next show.

The audience was fairly quiet, but I think that was from the emotional impact. Lots of applause at the end.

The Kerry for Prez folks had a table set up in the lobby and were registering voters. A group of veterans were tabling outside the theater with a lot of anti-war material. I think they were doing some voter reg, too.

I'm just hoping a lot of fence-sitters go to see it; that and all the 18-21 year olds.

Both theatres packed. Lines snakin' around the trees 4 the next showing. Standin' in line 'n then walking out of the theatre, it was great seeing friends waiting. Discussion groups outside after the movie. Great activist community here in OC.

19. No Freepers in Rockford, no protestors.
There was a big article about it in the Rockford paper in the a.m., with some of them doing their disgusting yelling.

None of them had the courage to come out and do anything, though.

Talk, talk, talk. They aren't good for anything else.

23. No freepers, no cops, place was packed. Richmond VA.
And this place is FREEPER CENTRAL.

Also had discussion groups and people passing out anti-Bush leaflets and war protest leaflets. All shows sold out for the whole weekend by 5 PM Friday. It was exhilarating. Lots of reaction to what was being shown on the screen. Lots of young people there, and also old hippies like us.

trying to disrupt, and I KNOW a large majority of the crowd HAD to be Repukes. Indiana hasn't swung Democrat since 1964.
Incidentally, the Rave Theaters did have it showing on 2 screens here.
The news reported that there was one guy who drove 70 miles from Lima, Ohio to see it!

31. Yeah, where are they?
After all their threats to disrupt and protest, I haven't heard any reports of them turning up at any theaters. Are they that terrified of us?

We expected to see at least a few anti-Moore protesters when we went to the movie last night. Nada.

Could it be there are really only five Freepers in the whole country, posting to each other under a hundred different screen names?

17. We drove to Rockford IL to see it.
It is about 60 miles from me.

They were showing it at 1:00, 4:00, 7:00 and 10:50.

We went to the 4:00 show. There were only two empty seats in the theater. And when we left, the crowds were already lining up for the 7:00 show.

The crowd was very responsive. There was laughter and tears. The lady next to me was crying very hard over Lila, the mom who lost her son. I was crying too, by the time I left.

One of the local TV stations had a crew there, but I did not talk to any of them. I would have been to emotional.

When Moore interviewed the soldier with nerve damage, who said he would not vote for * again, the whole theater broke out in applause.

It was a great experience. I am getting teary again just thinking about it.

I am buying to DVD, to show it to people who are unconvinced, or on the fence.

Thank you, Michael Moore!

even the Regal Cinemas who just renovated to stadium seating and upgraded their sound system...are refusing to show it! Only Rave has the guts to show this! OH WELL...as they say "You snooze...ya lose!"
I'd about bet that when word of ticket sales gets out...the others will cave in!
