Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 12:35 AM by buycitgo
Jeff Jarvis.....buzzmachine.com

says he's not bush voter, but movie makes him want to vote Bush

wonder what this buzzmachine is

what a DICK!

Greenberg says it's like a Rushbo rant

Aaron Brown says it reflects nastiness in American politics

Jarvis says this movie is divisive

resents the movie, cause he was at WTC when it happened

so WHAT!

what a DICK!

5. here's the review that got him there, according to him
http://www.buzzmachine.com/archives/2004_06_24.html#007356

"As I walked out of the theater on the opening day of Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11, I thought (read: hoped) that even here, in the East Village of Manhattan, true Moore country, where the flick was already sold out all night, surely even here they wouldn't fall for all his obvious, visual/rhetorical tricks, his propaganda too unsubtle for the cheapest tin-horn demagog."

need more?

gee, do you take his word or that of, say, PULITZER PRIZE winner Roger Ebert, or the other Chicago critic, Michael Wilmington, who both gave it four stars out of four, just to name two?

I heard Ebert on Howard Stern, and he was most eloquent, when he wasn't having his time wasted by Rob Schneider, arguing about how (un)funny Deuce Bigelow was

11. Also, notice no facts were brought up
Like "Moore got it all wrong.." All this faux Dem Jarvis could argue is the same tired line, 'we shouldn't be like THEM...'
Someone posted earlier Jarvis called MM a fatass on his blog, I guess that might put it all in perspective.

7. Since CNN was such a huge cheerleader, I don't expect
them to give it a good review--who is this guy Jarvis, some nobody blogger is all they could get besides the shakey headed weirdo Jeff Greenfield?

but loves Hitchens, Jeff Rosen, other wingnuts to whom he links (LW sites, too, but the wingers he links are FAR out into the Oort Cloud....ever heard of Richard Bennett, racist extraordinaire, famous for ooazings at Salon Table Talk, TAP forum, and Atlantic....personal experience with that mescaloid)

9. There is nothing nasty in F911
Nothing at all. Just another hypocrisy. If anything Moore showed more restraint than usual.

13. they discussed that a bit on Brown......
accusing AAR, Moore of being the left's version of them, without giving ANY credence to the idea that the ENTIRE media has spawned this sort of response, which, of course, has much more bearing in fact than the LYING LIARS

comparing them, of course, is like comparing, oh, say, George Seldes to Goebbels

got that, BUZZMACHINE???????

and did you steal your title from Buzzflash, I wonder?

14. Greenberg and Jarvis are both douche bags
So, you get one asshole right winger on one side then another even worse RW nut-job on the other, and then you call that "fair and balanced?!" So if I come out and say, "I'm not a supporter of GW Bush, but..." If you say that fuck wad, anything after the word "BUT" is bullshit. FUCK YOU Jarvis!

I wanted to break my TV after seeing those two douche bags pretend to be intelligent. Greenberg thinks it's like the debate between Jefferson and JQ Adams, but those two guys looked like Beavis and Butthead.

That Jarvis dude... Michael Moore is like Rash Limpballs? These bastards haven't seen angry yet!!!
