Spot on F-9/11 "review" from a Bush lover/Moore protestor
http://www.recordnet.com/daily/news/articles/062604-gn-2.php

Wearing a white T-shirt that read "I Love Bush," Amanda Gordon joined three fellow Bush supporters protesting the film in front of the City Centre Cinema on Friday. The 19-year-old hadn't seen the movie but planned to watch it this weekend.

"I think the people deserve to know the whole truth," she said. The film misinforms the public about Bush's relationship with the bin Laden family, Gordon said.

Critics have also pointed to a scene in which Moore makes the president look incompetent the morning the Sept. 11 attacks. Bush is reading a book to group of Florida elementary students when he gets word that a second plane crashed into the World Trade Center. He looks dumbfounded for seven minutes as the class reads.

"It's aimed at a younger demographic, and they're going to believe these facts and get all amped up and go to the voting booths," Gordon said.

Facts are horrible things. How dare we believe them!

2. you know...
I got into it with a Repub the other day about this film...she said she is not going to see the film because it misinforms the public and is full of lies...

I asked her how she could make that assumption without seeing the movie...she said it's because of what she has seen on Faux News...

go figure...

5. like on IMDB voting is either 1 or 10
and has been since before the movie came out. the people voting 10 are likely those who haven't seen it but intend to and are ABB. those voting 1 will never watch it and instead believe whatever limbaugh et al tell them to think about it (also without watching it). I would say it is a sad reflection on the lack of dialogue and intelligent discourse but cheny has already eloquently expressed that - and stunningly is proud of it(no doubt a poll told him there are enough lobotomized citizens to make this the "right" political move)

3. Frightening little girl, isn't she? Wow. "They're going to believe these
facts..."! Wow, what a statement. God forbid people hear the facts and go vote. Just make sure when you vote that your vote gets counted this time. They were not in 2000, they were not in 2002 and here comes 2004 like a locomotive out of control.
