What on EARTH prompted that comment?!?!??!?!?! It's totally orthogonal to the question. I think it's a Freudian slip - he thought in the process of answering that he IS superior and felt the need to deny it. I'll leave it to the DU Christians to dissect that.

As for the interruptions, it was more a matter of Bush's trademark long pauses (for earpiece info, no doubt) at which point Carol Coleman would step in to say something. She never once actually talked over him. Besides, he was just attempting to hit his talking points at every turn, not answer any questions.
