The showing was sold out and so was the show after the 4:15 showing. I bought 5 tickets Friday for today's show, so I was set to go. The energy was great before the show, people talking, the man next to me nice and convivial. A great diversity as well, old, young, black, Hispanic, white, just a great mix, it made me proud to be an American to be in such a cultural diverse setting all for the same purpose, the truth.
My favorite part was when Katherine Harris came up on the screen everyone hissed..yes...HISSED...LOL...it was great. Of course, Floridians still can't stand the liar.
I had NO idea that not ONE senator objected for GORE...I can't believe Senator Bob Grahm didn't object or how about Senator Kennedy on Al Gores behalf? It made no sense to me.
My favorite part was the "Coalition of the Willing," how funny was that!
Our tickets were checked on the way in to make sure we were seeing the movie we paid for, the girl checking them was actually LOOKING and verifying the tickets. People clapped throughout the show in different areas. Everyone clapped when the soldier stated that Dumbsfield should resign! Everyone gasped when the soldier who died had his last two weeks deducted on his last paycheck because he died in action. How hideous. Not one protester, not one person made a comment against the movie.
It was a great experience, there was security guards all over the place, but that was fine with me. After seeing the movie and the fact that Homeland Security is serious business (sarcasm inserted) I felt MUCH safer knowing security was there to protect me from the truth.
This movie should be a requirement for all college kids, especially, the poor kids who think that serving in the arm services is a ticket to an education...it's hard to learn when you're dead.
Excellent show, well done, and some great Michael Moore moments that will make you laugh if you're familiar with his movies. I give it an A+
