Has Bush lost the veterans' support?
Just saw on ABC News that Rolling Thunder rolled into Crawford Texas to oppose closings of veterans facilities. The highlighted facility was in nearby Waco, TX.

1. I hope they see the light....
They are closing the national parks too. We will have nothing. They are taking away everything from the normal people. Not enough money because they need it to control the world.

2. Here is one veteran (Korea) who never
supported the AWOL Chicken-Hawk-In-Chief. And doesn't
know how in the hell any veteran would ever support him
or his gang of chicken-hawks. I don't understand how
anyone who has ever experienced the death and devastation
could ever seriously view war as a solution to anything.
If the activity of the ex-Enron employee (Ralph Reed) in
Georgia against Max Cleland wasn't enough to turn ones
stomach then nothing will ever change those veterans who
found any reason to support W and his gang of chicken-hawks.

3. Yes
The active duty I talk with are either hopeless Freepers or disgusted enough not to vote for Bush. There are going to be a lot of military votes for Any Dem and a lot of military men who won't vote at all. Put a military man in as President/VP candidate, and the Democratic Party will take the military vote.

5. This November on Veteran's Day
will be telling. I remember when Rolling Thunder went anti-Clinton in 98. Hopefully, they'll go anti-Bush this year!

As a veteran, who has a brother who is a medically retired vet, I am really concerned about promises made to vets.
