Sincere question: Why do all the "pundit" shows invite David Brooks?
He is insipid and all around a non-charmer spouting the RWinger lines. But anywhere you look, there he is.

1. They feel sorry for him.
It's the same way with the President. They give him a free ride on account of his mental retardation. He and David share the same affliction.

2. No S_____!!!!!!!!!!!!
The dude is all right wing.

Always appears on The News Hour and actually said Friday night THE WORLD CHANGED AFTER 9-11...IRAQ & SADDAM WAS-IS AN IMMENENT THREAT...THEY HAD WMD'S...PRISONERS TREATED WITH RESPECT...CIVIL LIBERTIES BEING STRENGTHEND...

All are GOP talking points.

It's rather pathetic Jim Lehrer just sits there and says nothing---I hate that.

5. Here's the Answer
If you are looking for an in-depth answer to this question, I suggest reading or listening to David Brock's "Republican Noise Machine." The neocons have heavily invested in "think tanks" and magazines to produce these people along with a sophisticated network to get their people into every aspect of media. It is no accident, but a concerted effort backed by lots of money and years in the making.

6. Great Question, LittleApple
I don't know who the guy is, but I know how some Conservatives seem ubiquitously present on television. I've often wondered how those people get invited over and over to appear. It would be nice to have a study that shows how the machine gets these people invited.
