There was just a "bit" on BBC about how many documentaries are being made now, and how the people are "hungry" for them , llike they have never been..
DUH!!!
When the corporate media parses everything in ways that favor the "ruling class" and the corporations who sign the paychecks, is it any wonder that at least half of the people feel cheated...EVERY DAY...
Critical mass had to arrive sooner or later, and if we cannot get the "other side of the story" presented to us along with "regular" reporting and news coverage, we will seek it out wherever we can..
The documentarians had figured this out.. They must have all arrived at the same conclusion simultaneously, since there are many left leaning subjects being explored these days..
Bush said it himself a while back when he was going to "bypass the media, and take his message to the people".. The press had better wake up, or their ever-dwindling "market-share", will be at zero soon..
Of course, maybe that is the ultimate intent..If "news" becomes so unwatchable, perhaps they will do away with it altogether, and just satisfy our voyeuristic needs with Britney,Laci,JLo,Kobe,Michael, etc, and we will all be forced to BUY news in the form of books, and movie tickets..
It baffles me to this day, how the media is so willing to write off half or more of the public, in favor of the "conservative" message.. Are they really that scared...or is it just the greed??
