They would trust the future of our country in the hands of this man? They would trust the lives of their children in the hands of this man? They would trust the economic decisions and their livelihood in the hands of this man? I cannot understand why?

They worship him as if he were a cult. Like Chauncey Gardner in Being There, they define his every utterance as something which it is not but rather something they wish it to be. But that does not mean that people with complex thoughts do not support Bush. They do, but because they expect some huge reward from his tax policies or environmental policies or military policies, etc...

I mean to them he looks confident and resolute and smart; apparently. It's almost like we are living in seperate worlds. Liberals here in reality and many conservatives off in crazy world.
