I wonder what they feel their role will be in this upcoming election

1. I was there.

I attended the Green Party National Convention. And I was a part of a group working hard to nominate David Cobb and ensure a public rejection of Ralph Nader.

I believe our presidential candidate and most party members see our role in this election cycle as one of building the Green Party at the local level. Greens are in a unique position because of our principles to work for refoms that the two big parties are incapable of taking on because of their acceptance and need for big corporate and special interest money.

The biggest priority for Greens and all Americans who love democracy is the institution of 'proportional representation' and Instant Runoff Voting.
