I'm So Offended!
I was a little bit puzzled by the lack of discussion about Wesley Clark over in freeperville - especially after his verbal lashing of Delay. So - I posted something. I've done it before in such a way that I don't see how they could know I wasn't one of them. Asked if "we" should be concerned about Clark - you know -the guy's getting a lot of press and sounds as if he may run.

Well, my post is mysteriously gone. Poof! Vanished into thin air. They must not have liked what I said.

17. Excellent interview. Clark sure sounds like he's running!
And he sounds like someone who will not take any crap from ANYONE! "We'll SEE who has the . . . hair!"

It's early. But I'm liking what I'm hearing from Gen. Clark.

14. Freepers are programmed to be obsessed with Clinton
It is funny to start a thread about Clinton and they just start marching lockstep with their pre-programmed opinions of him. I don't think the Freepers have been programmed like the good stepford children they are about Clark.

3. Freepers have never liked
Clark. By appearing innocent you probably gave yourself away. :D

6. didn't start with "god bless gwbush"
gave himself away because he didn't start with "god bless gwbush" or "it's all clinton's fault". neutral is considered to be "bleeding heart left wing liberal" by right wingers. just look at fox news and you see what they consider to be "fair and balanced".

9. Really?
They think he's an idiot? Interesting.
I thought I'd get at least one post...even from someone who figured me out. And no, I didn't start the post with a Clinton bash or a bless Bush. Next time I will.

10. Yeah, it started
over the Bosnia/Serb war. Freepers were/are on the Serb side.

Naturally a general sent by Clinton against Serbs will get trashed.

But after that, the man couldn't do anything right as far as they were concerned.

11. I like it
if the freepers feel that way about Clark, he'll really get under their skin if he emerges as a real threat to chimpy. I love the thought of it. :bounce:

13. I'm sure that some....
......plans are being made regarding Waco and a couple of other things they think they can use against Clark. I'm sure that Clark has thought about three steps ahead of them, though, and would even be ready for the dirty tricks and attempted smears.

16. Bosnia, Waco, Huh?
People will not respond to that. Most people don't even remember that. Most people didn't know about the Bosnian war when it was going on. Waco, humm, that is about as connectable as Ruby Ridge or the Bob Jones. Clark wasn't even involved with that. It was his number 2 man.

15. 2004 is now to them
Edited on Mon Aug-18-03 12:10 AM by jfkennedy
One thing I know for the Republicans today might as well be Election Day 2004. My guess is they have spent around a billion dollars in off the books money to get Dean on the ticket so they can win. They know if Bush has to run against Clark they will not have the money or votes to win.
