3. I wonder if our "free" press will pick up on this.
Yeah. Sure.

I've forwarded it to all on my email lists, having made it easier to read by changing the black type in the blue box to white, with a footnote to explain what I had done.

Thanks for the post.

4. funniest thing I've ever seen !!!
That is great!!
How bout thins--
Could we get hundreds of people to run classified adds in newspapers(free ads) in every town.
Advertise for jobs available... then instead of a phone number, use a web link to info regarding electionfraud.

Flood all newspapers.
Even advertise great deals on cars-on furniture--on houses even !!
---but send them to www.blackboxvoting.org.
Or send them to www.informationclearinghouse.org
What do you think?

17. here's the text
Come one come all, welcome to the 2nd presidental auction! This will be the second consecutive presidential election up for sale! It could quite possibly be the last, because every subsequent election will be STOLEN rather than bought! It's even quite possible this election will be stolen, so supplies are extremely limited!

The following package is not guarenteed with a winning bid, however, if the past presidential auction is any indication as to the extent of perks you will receive, then I'm sure you will be quite happy with your product. The last auction came with the following items:
Presidential Status legitimate enough for mass-media to endorse you, which is all that matters anymore
The ability to give kickbacks and government-funded programs to your former employers and friends, up to $7-billion in uncontested government contracts!
The ears of powerful, unelected government administration officials who's rulings carry the weight of laws
The rights of your citizens, seized through the DMCA and Patriot Acts
The invalidation of the first ammendment to the United States Constitution, specifically the freedom to speak your mind without fear of the FBI, CIA, SWAT teams, or other law enforcement agencies abducting you and holding you without just cause for an extended period of time.
The complete invalidation of the fourth ammendment to the United States Constitution, which ensures that all americans are "secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures," also acquired "legitimately" through the passing of the Patriot Act and the merging of corporate and government databases
The ability to use a nation's poor and underprivelaged to wage war on foreign powers, expanding US power and protecting the interests of large capitalist tycoons.
Privelage of jingoisticly increasing military spending, giving the federal military a budget so obscene that it no longer needs to answer to congress.
Ability to give out $billions in weapons contracts while unemployment rises, offshoring becomes commonplace, and the proletariat find themselves with fewer and fewer options.
Selective hearing - the ability to listen to a few rich men who have a clearly defined conflict of interests in issues, while simultaneously ignoring the millions of dissenters. The selective hearing ensures that this is carried out in a guilt-free manner.
The distinguished position of being the only president to approach Lincoln in quantity of civil liberties stolen from the hands of the constituents or constitutional bounds overceded
Despotic control over the lives of hundreds of millions.
The possibility of being the president that eventually illicits the individual states to attempt to take back the powers that were constitutionally reserved to them by our fore-fathers. The attempt will be short-lived, as state militia have been all but banned and all power has accrued into federal hands over the past century. The subsequent post-skirmish situation would allow for the seizure of more powers from a complacent media-brainwashed pool of citizens.
The locking up of the three boxes available to American Citizens through which they can change their government: the jury box, the ballot box, and the cartridge box, thereby leaving Americans with no way to change their government at all.
You get to live in a big white building surrounded by gates, fly in planes, wear bomber jackets, and look altogether cool in front of millions of registered voters
Luxury of playing softball on the back lawn with media present to photograph your rosy picture of America, while soldiers die to support your unquenchable greed
Access to TV camaras and stuff, where you can say,, "You're either with us, or against us", turning all political dissent into anti-american leftist terrorist rhetoric.

The insecurities associated with the Diebold voting machines, being instilled in many US states, will make stea^H^H^H^Hwinning this bid easier than ever! Wake up America... don't waive your rights with your flags.

Current bid is $99,999,999.99

19. some strange phrasing here!
"leftist terrorist rhetoric"...?

"The locking up of the three boxes available to American Citizens through which they can change their government: the jury box, the ballot box, and the cartridge box..."

"The possibility of being the president that eventually illicits the individual states to attempt to take back the powers that were constitutionally reserved to them by our fore-fathers...."

Sounds more like a rightwing voice than a left. What's scary is we're starting to agree. Bush--the great Uniter.

32. leftist terrorist rhetoric?
I feel compelled to reply to this part actually, cuz I sat here thinking on it for a good 10 minutes. The part about leftist terrorist rhetoric... I wasn't saying that all left-wards people are terrorists. I was trying to say that's what Bush Ltd. is trying to imply.

Anyone who disagrees with him... anyone who's a left... is unamerican and a terrorist, and they're just spouting rhetoric. That's what I meant.

29. Regarding my ebay auction
Hi... I'm rob. It was my auction. I woke up at 3am and did it. I still don't know why. Sometimes at 3am I write crazy shit.

I'm not a confederate, and I don't believe in slavery. I just have a strong belief that the states granted the federal government limited power, and that power was overstepped when the southerners were not allowed to break away peacefully. I believe that power continues to be overstepped at an increasing pace. The system is going out of control.

I admit I don't like Lincoln that much. My grandfather read a lot of stuff on him and told me about it years ago. It just makes you wonder, if these people were such great presidents, why did they get killed? It's very rare that a murder attempt is carried out on a president. You'd really have to piss people off to instigate that much of a response, and apparently Lincoln did.

I've read a lot on diebold, on sherman austin who was sentenced to a year for practically no crime at all.

I'm just a college kid. I don't know my left from my right, whether rl or politics. I just know what I feel, and I feel our constitution was good back when it was all there was. The fed is too big now, and yes, it gives great benefits to people, but that's just buying votes. I don't like the two-party system. I don't like social heirachy that gets too far away from the people, because then it's not ANSWERABLE to the people.

If each public school was independent, the board would have to answer to the parents of the kids there, and them only. When school systems group together, you get one superintendent, who decides what's best for everyone. He doesn't know the different parents. He doesn't care about the different communities. They're interested in uniformity. I don't like that.

Apply the same logic to states. Each state is answerable to communities when the states hold most of the power. When the federal government overreaches the "delegated" powers that were given to it in the constitution, it adds another layer that people have to go through to complain, and thus makes complaining less effective, or take longer.

I'm serious when I said I don't know my right from my left ;) When you all call me right-wingers, I just scratch my head. I see a problem, and I point it out. I don't have the answers, but if someone doesn't pose the question, the experts can't decide on an answer. I figure by posing the question, I'm at least generating discussion. I got an email today from a 61 year old grandmother, a woman who can't carry her own groceries but still had the secret service come interrogate her about terrorism. This, to me, is unacceptable.

42. they canceled it as follows:
We regret to inform you that your eBay auction:

3622585798 US 2004 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

has been ended. All fees associated with this auction have been credited to your account.

The item you have listed does not appear to be consistent with eBay guidelines.

eBay does not allow listings that are intended as jokes or which feature intangible items that are not actually for sale.

That was pretty much how they canceled it...
