I read the other threads. I just had to comment on her superior commentary. I can't wait for the rest of this weeks programs. I haven't watched crossfire in a while since it all seemed so futile. I think Garafolo really sparked the show. I have never seen Carlson so tongue tied. Even the Dem spokesguy, wossname, seemed inspired by Janeanne's outspokeness. Best Crossfire I've ever seen.

4. I like Janeanne a lot

but I thought she was a bit nervous--coming up with witty and short answers (whether they have substance or not) takes practice.

Maybe it was just because it was her first time (no, not like that!)...hopefully she'll relax a bit. This is also nice because next time she speaks out, people won't be able to dismiss her as "just an actress."

I have to admit that I do love Carville on Crossfire, though...even when you can't understand him exactly, it seems like he's kicking ass...

she needs to learn to read like she's "not reading" but beyond that, she was great.

13. They "all" end up being buffoonish on Crossfire

It's too "staged" and now that it's only a half hour, it's not even worth watching.. It's just 30 minutes of soundbyte gotcha..

Janeane is good, but I would rather see each side take ONE subject and each side debate that ONE issue with their strongest points for 12 minutes each and then sum up..

Everyone is just "too cute by half" on those screaming head shows..

This is not funny..it's about health care, college expenses, war dead,runaway unemployment.. I see nothing funny about it:(
