How to Demoralize the Right Wing?
I base this on my own feelings here at DU when I see people bashing other Democrats. Any of you who mole over at Freeperville could consistently challenge the ideological purity of Bush or Schwarzenegger or DeLay or Rush or O'Reilly. But you have to take turns. You have to make it sound exactly like you're a winger who means it. "Bush is a closet commie"--that's probably too obvious, but something along those lines, something to make the average Freeper--assuming there's something human under their pasty flaccid skin--wonder how pure his or her own thought is, or rather, about if they really want to be in a place where other wingers win hadns down any ideological "I'm more fascist than you are" pissing contests.

13. There should be a comittee of Democrats or DUers
who do precisely that, noting contradictions in the RW "message." It might be unethical, however, to suggest moles take those contradictions and run with them via posts on FR, Lucianne.com, etc., and calls, e-mails, letters to the editor, etc., to Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, FOX, etc. Terribly, terribly unethical. That would be political sabotage.

3. Ask two things
1. Do you feel more secure than you did two years ago?
2. Where are the jobs?

9. yes, outsourcing is getting them INSANE!
I lurk over there on a regular basis and that is one issue that has their minds in dissonant chaos. In fact, some have out and out said that they really won't vote for BushCo again if something isn't done about it, and especially about the crashing economy.

another one is the LIE that "poor people don't pay income taxes." I mean, c'mon, a lot of those freepers are just wage slaves who know damn well they pay income taxes--but they've been brainwashed to think that the misnomer "payroll taxes" excludes them from the group who pay "income taxes," that income made on an hourly "payroll" is somehow different (and lowlier) than "real" income. As someone who does NOT pay "payroll" (ie, FICA) taxes because I am a graduate student on a large university payroll, I know damn well there is federal tax taken out of my measly stipend and I DON'T get it all back as a refund.

In a scheme likely to raise as many laughs among Washington's hardline Republicans as Ann Coulter's "Treason," members of the Democratic Undergorund are planning to put up pictures around the town of President Bush's face superimposed on the bodies of a busty Veronica Lake, a slinky Zsa Zsa Gabor, a grooving Elvis and British-born rocker Billy Idol.

The aim, apparently, is to so enrage Bush's followers that they will draw themselves out.

With apologies to The Guardian.

6. pretty insightful--the only thing a RW conservative can't stand is
anybody "different" from them--a lack of unity in the lockstep (i.e., Arnold's slightly less than perfect fascistic beliefs) drives them nuts. They are really psychotics or obsessive compulsives with extreme aversion to things different than them. Like OCD people MUST have all the soccks in the drawer just so, Republicans must have all the people on the block with the same perfect lawns, same perfect cars, as well as all the people in the party white males or subservient wives of white males.

This is the opposite of the Democrat's ideal of inclusion.

The campaign version of the Republicans, where they find minorities to get up on stage and portray the party as diverse (when it isn't of course)is a joke. Why must they turn back the clock? Becasue they are intolerant psychotic bigots. To quote Bushie: "Period!"

8. yes and it's SO ironic that that detestable scumball Boortz says
"liberals hate individualism" in that disdainful sneering voice that makes me want to slam my fist down his throat--that guy makes me so @#%(*ing mad I want to punch out the dashboard when I hear him on the car radio.

For some insane reason he keeps harping on the loose-screw idea that "liberals hate individualism" :wtf:

Hello, Bores? Is anybody home in that pseudo-intellectual scumbag twisted sneering little pea-mind of yours? Where the @#%*&^ do you get that stupid idea?? talk about conforming, nonindividualist SHEEP, your fans take the cake, dumbass.

the idea several posts above, of plastering photoshops of Bush's face on female bodies in tutus, is EXCELLENT! doh! why didn't I think of that?!

10. To demoralize the Right, prove that Christ was a LIBERAL
That's what we are all about, showing that real followers of Christ should be anything but Conservative Republicans:

at http://www.LiberalsLikeChrist.Org .

See what Christ might say about the "Christian Coalition" & "Religious Right" imposters.

12. Demoralizing Reich Wing Fundamentalists should be a major DNC tactic.
Bush can't win if they don't turnout. I think the best way to accomplish this is to hammer on Cheney's support of civil unions for gays.

16. Ooh! Ooh! I know!
Bash Democrats so frequently and aggressively that the repukes trying to do the same are totally shouted down, drowned out and frustrated. That'll demoralize them.
