Anybody watched Paula Zahn "examination of the press" re Bush?
It actually was pretty good. She even showed snippets of Coleman (the Irish journalist and Bush being an ass towards her). The journalists said that they had gone soft on Bush because of the war, but admitted that it was a very secretive presidency, too few press conferences, too few answers, intimidation of the press was implied, and that the only thing they want to filter out of this administration is TALKING points.
Bush has never given an interview to any REAL newspaper..

3. Well.... you are asking too much. This is Woodruff??. But I am

following the approach of ultra-low expectations. I was ready to see an absolute denial and all the mediawhores saying they are tough professionals who always ask the tough questions and that Bush is wonderful, and that is not what happened.
I think MICHAEL MOORE DESERVES A MEDAL OF HONOR AS A PATRIOT.

Note on edit: I just got extended cable and watch CNN to see if it is worth it. So far.... I only need to keep this cable contract for two months.

4. I just got extended cable. I don't know who is who!!! So that
blonde who was there with the stare that seems to affirm her sincerity and toughness is Woodruff? OK. I have to go on their site and check who Zahn is.

5. If CNN is going to go down the truth road, the least we can do

is positively reinforce them for it.

Give snaps to CNN and Paula

but of course also ask them why they expect us to trust anonymous sources on their cover story, "Bin Laden Behind Latest Threat."

BULLSHIT.

7. No, they actually did a pretty decent job, considering. Not perfect,
but pretty good compared to what we have been getting for the last three years.

8. I was pleasantly surprised, but I had rock bottom expectations...
Ed Chen from the LA Times said that all presidents get some sort of honeymoon when first in office, and he thinks it was a bit longer for Bush because of the bitterness surrounding the recount, and then the honeymoon was starting to wear off when 9/11 happened and he got an all new extended, honeymoon.

My note - I don't think Clinton got much of a honeymoon, if any? I suspect Kerry won't, either, if he pulls the upset & wins.
