I miss Al. While I am undecided - for him I would have made an exception.

In all this bitterness - anyone else miss Al?

1. well there is a draft Gore committee but they sure aren't
accomplishing what the Draft Clark people are. I miss Gore too, but it was his decision and so far there hasn't been a huge grass roots explosion demanding him to run.

5. Yes
Draft Clark will become irrelevent once he enters the race.

8. I am just really concerned
about the degredation of discourse on candidates.

Wondered if Gore's presence would increase or decrease discourse.

The first question is serious (how to address it); the latter, really is academic.

4. A lot of people would support him if he asked
I wish he would.

6. Perhaps you forgot that there were huge fights about whether he

should run again before everyone had to find a new messiah.

I personally wish we would draft Mario Cuomo or Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks.

The bottom line...no matter who you are, what you do, where you are, what you have and what you hope...LIFE IS JUST FUCKING UPSETTING RIGHT NOW...ain't it?

10. I do... maybe things would be calmer in that there would be two
cross fighting sides. Now it is like the half court dodgeballs where each team gets targeted from all directions.

11. It will quiet down...let the flamers burn themselves out
Kind of like an electrical fire...funny thing is notice that the people who hated the temporary rules the most seem to be the reason we need them ;-)

7. I have been very irritated by the free reign given to ...
...a "draft-a-certain candidate" group of people when, after Gore dropped out and there was serious talk about trying to draft him, all of a sudden everything dealing with Gore was locked into ONE FUCKING THREAD PER DAY!

9. I'd rather draft Hillary Clinton if we are going to
be sighing over candidates that don't want to run. I think she would regain some of the states Al lost in the last election. I like Al and I wish he were president right now, but I think you may see him in another role in a future Democractic administration.

12. I admit it
Al ain't running-no matter what. But if he did it would be kinda like pouring oil upon the troubled waters, for me anyway.
