Elected for 5 terms, served 11 years. Balanced 11 budgets. I am not going to pounce on Clark because he has an excellent Military Career. Dean didn't serve in Vietnam, so what? Many Democrats and Republicans and Americans didn't serve in Vietnam, why should they be discluded for not serving?

you didn't post anything silly or demeaning about Clark like that other thread did to Dean. We are on the right track here. We should list why Dean is a great candidate and you began it well with his record balancing budgets in Vermont.

Here is another reason: Dean signed the most significant civil rights bill of our time into law in Vermont--Recognizing Civil Unions.

I like Dean. I like most of the other candidates, too. This is a good, nonbashing thread. I would see more of these. And not in response to "Clark rules!" threads.
