I'm sick of Clarkies blasting Deanies
It's time we joined together to fight Dubya instead us.
Every Clarkie who attacked a Deanie should be ashamed.
Though I now support Clark I used to be a feverent Deanie.

I respect Howard Dean for blastinh Bush when others wouldn't.
So stop fighting each other!
This is a disgrace.

4. It's my suspicion that there are some (not mentioning any names)...
...that have, as their sole intention, sowing enough bad blood that they are NOT running mates. The prospect of that ticket would be...scary...to them.

5. I think you give DU too much credit.
Unless you are talking about a larger conspiracy I'm not aware of.

2. How bout you guys support Kucinich instead
Then you won't be a Clarksie or a Deanie...you'll be the heir to the wellstonian name, and the real "democratic wing of the democratic party," a Kucinichie.

6. Sorry, I can't be swayed by someone who "hates" Dean
Unless he raped your dog and put sugar in your gas tank, hating Howard Dean is incredibly irrational.

8. I don't have a dog or a car...
he supports american empire however by keeping a 400 billion dollar pentagon budget(40 times more than "Rogue" nations combined), and more than all the world combined!!!! That is madness.

he supports the death penalty and thus won't do a damn thing to change the most horrific, unfair, un-declaration of independence thing in our nations history.

he flip flops on issues. Where the fuck does he stand on social security? I haven't heard a solid answer yet because it changes every damn time. A man with no opinion on such an important issue can't be trusted...especially when he practically called Kucinich a liar for something Dean actually did say....that is shallow.

he doesn't support gay marriage, by my interpretation of the 1st and 14th amendments it is clear gay marriage is legal and the government must recognize them.

he says he is "the democratic wing of the democratic party" but then says he isn't even a "liberal". Why the fuck should I vote for someone who isn't even liberal?

Dean blows.

12. Kucinich didn't support gay marriage either
when it mattered (in 96). He campaigned for Congress as a DOMA supporter.

9. TBA you're new here.
Welcome. But you don't know.... I've been fighting one long battle since I got here two months ago. I have yet to attack another candidate. We have been beaten up mercylessly. I agree though, let none of our people bash another candidate without calling them on it.

11. Clark hasn't announced that he is running yet, and
if he does, if he will run as a Democrat. So why is all this energy being wasted on him? Wait until you know what he intends to do.

14. It would be pretty hard for a draft movement to succeed otherwise.
Simply put, Clark "resonates" with a whole lot of people. Nothing succeeds like an idea who's time has come - or whatever that expression is.

As for the Dem issue. If you study up on Clark it is obvious (extremely obvious) that he is a Dem. He can call himself anything, or nothing at all, for all I care. Labels mean nothing. Principles are everything.

17. With one or two posters
last night it was a particular brand of taunting going on. The bashing is present. The taunting is new.

But, I think the tauntin is a sort of delayed reaction to bashing in the past. Heck one isn't even a Clark rooter - just really likes to taunt the Dean camp.

In all fairness it is a handful of posters - for each candidate that does this.

As an undecided - it is irritating as heck.

But it shapes more of an opinion about specific DUers than it does about candidates.

Many posters have expressed issues with decorum (including your post and this thead originator).
