Go Vietnam Vets!!!
A caller to our local radio talk show, a member of the Vietnam Vets of America, just called in and bashed Bush to little pieces. He said that America should watch what is going to happen at the VVA convention in St. Louis on Aug. 23rd.....His words, "The Commander and Chief will not be happy". He says the Vietnam Vets are livid over the VA funding cuts, and they are organizing to protest this administrations treatment of vets, by voting Bush and Co. out of office! GO VIETNAM VETS!!!!!

2. Awesome... I hope the VVA reminds everyone of Rummy's statement...
I hope the VVA reminds America of Rummy's callous and disgusting statement that draftees added "no value" to previous conflicts.

9. I've always asked...
"What the hell value did Rumsfeld of the other Chickenhawks do during that war"?!!!

Goddamn cowards! Willing to send others where they refused to go, the bastards.

I despise hypocrites...and these are the most obvious on the planet; this administration is about to implode!

3. I've said it before, I just hope the vets remember this stuff....
Because there is no doubt that as election '04 approaches that bush/rove is going to do some high profile (but ultimately empty) gestures and overtures for/towards vets and the military and their families. I only hope that all involved are smart enough to see it for what it is and don't forgive so easily.

Not only the Vietnam vets but all of them, my stepdad was on
Omaha beach 6June 1944, and he went to the VA the other day because
he was having major medical problems, and they wouldnt even help him

10. We must never forget that this admin...
is CUTTING VA benefits...while people are in combat!

I never took any VA benefits. I always felt there were others worse off than I, and I didn't want the guy or gal with serious problems to get cheated. Now I see my rationale was justified.

For those that were willing to sacrifice so much, and to be turned away, is appalling. This deserting SOB needs to be tarred and feathered and tossed onto an island inhabited by some really pissed off land crabs.

bush is a HYPOCRITE! bush is a COWARD! And he is soon to be an ex-president, living in shame and disgrace in that hellhole called Crawford. :grr: :nuke:

11. Bush is all those things but he is also an empty suit.
We need to drain the swamp of these neo-cons and send them someplace where they no longer will have any power to rule and rob.

13. Perhaps the worst punishment we can instill...
on these pieces of trash, is to place them in a situation where there are nothing but neo-cons to prey upon. A land of Neo-Conism, where the only prey is another predator. 'Lord of the Flies' in spades.

What a sweet dream of justice.
