4. Last week had a four legged plane flight

around the country.

I used the same credit card to contribute to Dean as I did to check in at the Delta kiosk for boarding passes.

All four times I was told to put my baggage in a "Special Selection" or some such line for special security attention. It was tagged with this big "special attention" tag. I'm a middle aged professional flying with two kids.

Course, with all the DU posts and carnivore, guess I'm lucky I'm not on a no fly list. That'll be next

6. Not so easy - you don't have to do a thing

That's what's scary. Identity theft is alive and well, not to mention plain ol' clerical errors. Who's to say that you don't have a similar or same name as a felon or somebody on a "wanted" list?

Years ago when mister murphymom and I applied for a home loan his name come up on our credit report as a deadbeat dad who owed child support. (Interesting for a man with no kids!) It was someone else and we got it straightened out easily, but had it been a mistake of a more serious nature we could have had real problems.
