Dean is responsible for the UN attack!!!
Ok, Dean is not ”responsible” for the attacks but his momentum is scaring the Bushbot/PNACers. If Dean wins the UN will be asked to lead the rebuilding of Iraq. This is not part of the PNAC plan. The BFEE is hedging their bets by attempting to drive the UN out before 2004.

If the UN decides Iraq is too dangerous then it will be hard for President Dean to get us out of Iraq thus leaving the spoils to the BFEE contractors ensuring Bush continues to profit from this misadventure.

Tell me why I am wrong?

2. Actually...
I don't think you're wrong at all.

Knowing all that has happened so far, it's impossible to dismiss even initially far-fetched sounding BFEE/PNAC schemes.

3. I think they are getting worried.
Dangerous times for the PNAC planners. Things are not going as planned and that means more people will have to die to cover their asses.

5. The PNACers et al are more than worried
The chaos they began to create long before 12.12.00, is not working to their advantage any longer. They are spinning manically out of control. They are looking at a deadline now (November 2002) and will stop at nothing to get what they preceive is theirs.

I had this same thought, but din't want to say it 1st.

4. I respecfully disagree.
I think quite the contrary. IMO, if the BFEE had a hand in this it was to get the UN in there lickety-split without all that bothersome dickering about sharing out the spoils. No time to waste boys, we'll talk details later. Mmm hmm. Sure we will Georgie.

Just my .0125

7. If the UN will come in under PNAC terms, fine.
If not, fine as well.

What the PNACle Club couldn't have was the UN setting up shop under their own authority as they were.

8. The "spoils" won't be able to be stolen
The country is unraveling as we speak. They won't be able to find contractors to work on wells or production facilities or pipelines. They're being shot. These geologists and roughnecks and toolpushers ain't soldiers. They're civilian workers. They ain't used to getting shot at.

And any progress they make in fixing things or drilling wells will go down the tubes because, they'll be blown up as soon as they are fixed.

This is Another Bad Bush Oil Deal. It will cost more to get the oil in security and repairs from sabotage than the oil is worth.....if they can find workers to do the work

...to get the UN out of Iraq so busholini could have their way with the place and with less interference.
