Will the MoveOn vs Fox suit open the way for class action?
The Democratic Party and liberals of any stripe have been hurt by FOX.
I think they are smart for going thru the FTC as opposed to the FCC.
False advertising also applies to CNN - news you can trust.

1. What's the basis for the suit?
Can you sue for biased coverage?

2. There's no way
They might try, but if you could Conservatives would have done it like a million times by now.

6. Good luck. Such a charge would be impossible to prove
Who decides what is "fair and balanced"? They've certainly done a good job of hiring some DINOs, and THEY say it's "balanced".

The problem is defining the terms. I doubt a judge would touch it with a ten foot poll.

But it might be fun to watch!

4. "Fair and Balanced"
It's over Fox calling themselves "Fair and Balanced" when they are not. It's a false advertising issue.

7. There is a petition and info at their site
From this morning's news, it seems today they are actually going to court to decide if there is a case..

8. I seem to recall the judge in the Franken case
made some comments questioning their right to call themselves fair and balanced and the fox attorneys immediately withdrew whatever issue the judge was considering at the moment.
