My letter to the editor regarding Gay marriage and indecency

Since Massachusetts has allowed gay marriage, the world has turned upside down. Dick Cheney told another senator . . .well he said a very bad word that rhymes with duck on the senate floor on June 22nd. On July 1st, the California Secretary of Education told a child her name means “Stupid Dirty girl.” And now our beloved governor called democrats in Sacramento “girlie men” on July 18th for debating the state budget.

We need to stop gay marriage so people like this stop perverting our ears with. . .what? These are Heterosexuals? I think Penn. Senator Rick Santorium was correct when he said “Marriage is hate. Marriage is a stain. Marriage is an evil thing. . . .People who stand for traditional marriage are haters, they're bashers, they're mean-spirited, they're intolerant.” Just look what these politicians have done in the last month.

Or maybe we can determine that gay marriage and indecency in our society are two independent factors. That the indecency our families are exposed to is not coming from 2 men or 2 women looking to solidify their love and commitment, it is coming from politicians who have forgotten the manners taught to them by their mothers.
