He uses them just like he uses guns -- as something symbolic of power and strength and virility that those damn liberals want to take away because they want the American public powerless and weak and impotent.
In other words, he's made SUVs into a symbol and uses them to play to his base.
Accurate? True? Fair? No, but this is Limbaugh we're talking about.
