http://www.oz.net/~vvawai/sw/sw31/gi_mvmt.htmlFTA, Fuck The Army, appeared on almost every U.S. military base around the world. We take pride in knowing that GI and vet opposition to that war contributed to the eventual well-deserved defeat of the U.S. in Vietnam
The following pages are kind of a GI movement scrapbook that we published in StormWarning! #31. We follow the movement in rough chronological order, beginning in Vietnam and then back home. These pages are not meant to be a thoroughly inclusive history of the GI movement (vets and GIs). Our purpose is more to inspire, remind, and educate. By touching on some of the proudest moments in our history we hope to form a picture. If that image expresses both the power and breadth of the GI movement since the 1960s, most especially during the Vietnam War, then we will have been successful.
