Bush Job Approval 52% - Re-Select 43% !!!

Released: August 20, 2003

Bush Job Performance Continues to Slip; Re-elect Numbers Worsen; 43%-43% Bush vs. any Democratic
Contender; Slight Bump in Overall Opinion, New Zogby Poll Reveals

President George W. Bush’s job performance rating has slipped to 52% positive, 48% negative, according to a poll
of 1,011 likely U.S. voters by Zogby International. From a post-September 11th peak of 82%, his rating has
slipped steadily with the exception of a slight increase following the official end of the war in Iraq.

Do you think it's time for someone new in the White House ?

August 16-19, 2003 - re-elect - 45% - someone new - 48%

Just over two in five (43%) likely voters say they would choose President Bush over a Democratic candidate, and
a like number (43%) preferred a Democrat if the election were held today, compared to July polling by Zogby
International where 48% would choose Bush and 43% would favor any Democrat.

Just 2 months ago, the Bush re-elect number was 49%, that means he is dropping fast. The american people are
finally waking up to the fact that Bush is a terrible lying fake president. In fact, 2 months ago only 38% said they
want someone new in 2004, now 48% say they want someone new.

2. 43% is the number Bush should worry about...
Because if it remains at that, it will mean a Democratic landslide. Not only Bush, but the Repub House and Senate should also be concerned. Because if Bush can not pull those numbers up, there is a good chance that Democrats will take back the House of Representatives. And at this time, the commercial they have in the wraps of Top Gun landing on the USS Abraham Lincoln does not look too good. Karl Rove will be working overtime to change these numbers, you can bet.

3. Bush in front of the "Mission Accomplished" banner?
The Dems should pay for that ad, adding an inset of killed and wounded stats with dates advancing from date of carrier landing to present time. Then do a projection, "At this rate, four more years of Bush equals "x" number of dead, maimed, crippled and injured American soldiers."

4. Whuh-oh -- LIHOP #2 could be in the wings
Actually, perhaps LIHOP #2 (or MIHOP #2) missed it's target thanks to a late-running metting.

Think about: 7 dead US Congresspeople would be another psychic shock which would send us running back to Der Fuehrer*.

Maybe. We'll never know any more than a Soviet could find out the Toilet Paper Production figures from 1975-1980.

How did they get the agenda of the US Delegation? One wonders.

5. Rove is probably planning another
"terrorist attack". Bush needs something like that to look like a "leader". Right now Rove & Co. are chasing their tail.
