I went to visit a friend today, traversing a part of town that I normally do not and saw some things that kinda amazed me. Little Rock is kinda blase' about Presidential politics, particularly after the nightmares Ken Starr made for good people here (I once had a chance to dump Chinese food on the bastard but declined the honor due to hunger).
But as I drove in post rush-hour traffic, I saw several people standing at busy intersections waving signs announcing a rally for Arkansans for Clark tomorrow at the Riverfront. Then, as I drove on, I spied several huge banners on butcher paper, spanning the fronts of houses, announcing the rally as well.
I haven't heard a mention of the Clark rally on the tube and I find it inspiring that there seems to be such a swell of support for a Favorite Son. I plan on attending. I do not know how many will be there but I will.
Can a Clark for President bumper sticker be very far off?
