In Franken's new book..... |
|
The "Operation Ignore" chapter is fantastic! I essentially new most of what is being said, but it's never been put together in one place so perfectly (and so...hilariously).

In the summer of 2001, Bush couldn't have given a hoot about protecting the US from terrorism - his priority was on the pandering tax bill and his month long vacation.

One of the greatest paragraphs thus far is the one with Bush's quote about his dogs. Then he talks about going fly fishing later. Franken: "And you know what? He did just that." Hahaha.

3. also: "The Oh Really? Factor: Unspinning Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly" |
|
I have also ordered Al Franken's book; and when I was at the Amazon site I noticed what looks to be another good book, so I ordered that too.
It's "The Oh Really? Factor: Unspinning Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly" by: Peter Hart (Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting). It got good reviews and I'm inclined to enjoy anything that trashes Fox News and Bill O'Reilly.
