the Democratic candidates should appear separately, or together to show solidarity with the nation, at the Viet Nam War Memorial to remind us of the true byproducts of war.
The usual suspects (FAUX, MSRNC, CNN and the like) would call it a publicity stunt or contemptible, but since some of the candidates have seen real action in Viet Nam that criticism would fall flat.
It's easy to talk tough about a war on the evil dooers, but when was the last time that you have seen anybody in politics really talk about the fallen, the loss of human potential, the families crushed by the death of a loved one: all for god, glory and oil? Has Chimpy compassionately visited with any of the fallen soldiers families?
Is there glory in war for the fallen? I am sure that their families would rather have them home an alive.
It's easy for Presidential Moron to stuff a sock in his crotch, be flown onto an aircraft carrier (hundreds and hundreds of feet off of the CA coastline) and swagger around on the deck pretending that the war is done and that we have won the peace.
Nonsense.
If any of the candidates drove this point home, about the hard consequences of war, then it would be a powerful message that most Americans could understand, rally around and shove right up the Emperor's ass.
