for a loud ass thump! They are feeling so superior, so arrogant, so cunning and intelligent. They have an answer for everything.

But they haven't learned the lessons of history. There is a price to pay for lying, cheating, and stealing. There is a price to pay for believing yourself untouchable. There is a price to pay for distorting and manipulating the truth.

And when they start to stumble, people will run to get out of their way. Like the giant in their own mind, they will stumble and they will fall. With a giant thud....It's coming.

2. lessons of history????
Crime pays. The one constant in life is that the bad guy always wins.
Everybody knows that. Nixon got away with what he did. Reagan got away with what he did. Poppy got away with what he did.

Hitler or Mussolini. The BFEE shares the distinction with Hitler of killing well over 50 million people.

On edit: And they still got away with it.

9. They got away with it?
If you mean, none of them died in a solitary cell in Marion, you're right.

But Nixon wanted a special glory that came from overwhelming approval. He lied like crazy for it. His own party asked him to leave. Nobody, in the end, stood by him. The Republicans like to pretend he was rehabilitated but he never got over the bile of those last days in office.

Reagan had alzheimer's his whole last term and maybe longer. He doesn't know if he got away with it or not. And it's so nice to know that a man whose marbles are rolling on the floor is the Republican ideal president.

Poppy had one term. Nobody wanted him back. His cronies gave him all sorts of sinecures to pay back his favors, but the man was not covered in glory. And he was defeated by a trailer trash hick scholarship student.

They will never have cells next to the Gotti boys, that's true. But the adulation and affirmation of the world they seek, the proof that they are as smart and savvy as the private clubs and restricted locker rooms and gated communities have said they are........Uh uh.

They only win when they cheat. They may tell themselves how clever they are, but they only win when they cheat.

11. What you don't get is that
they have stolen trillions of dollars, killed millions upon millions of people, destroyed so many more lives and have interfered with foreign governments. They still got away with it. They have not served not one day in jail and they have not been stripped of their ill-gotten money. The bottom line is that they got away with it.

6. More lessons . . .
Machiavelli said, "He who, blinded by ambition, raises himself to a position whence he cannot mount higher, must thereafter fall with the greatest loss."

8. History also shows that some dictators and despots...
...are in power for years and even decades. As the Bushies have clearly shown...a 'dictatorship' that has the backing of the national media can get away with crimes against the people and state without fear of punishment.

- Let's not become complacent in the belief that the Bushies will implode under the sheer weight of their misdeeds and corruption. They grow ever more powerful...emboldened by the inaction of our representatives and bought off media and justice system.
