1. They're ass kissers
of the right. They're positions are supposed to appeal to moderates. Republican lite. They supported Gore rolling over and not fighting for his win. They're girlie men.

2. Nothing. If you think that being a Republican moderate is nice.
Which is what the DLC wants the party to become.

6. ReTHUGlican Light.
Some note-worthy members: (off the top of my head)
Joe LIEberman
Evan Bayh

I heard Big Dawg was/is a mwember of DLC, but I don't see it in his actions.

7. The DLC leans right on numerous issues...
e.g., the death penalty, gun control, welfare reform and national defense. I actually agree (to a point) with some of these positions. The problem (for me) is that the "unspoken" positions by most DLCers include deregulation, "free" trade, etc.

8. Nothing, if you like losing elections.
1994 - which DLC founders Al From and Will Marshall (card carrying PNAC'er) called a "liberation", implying that the legacy of Democrats like FDR, Truman, and JFK was a BAD thing??

2000 - Yeah we all know Gore actually won. But it hardly makes a difference when those ASSHOLES allowed it to get that close in the first place by insisting Holy Joe be on the ticket.

2002 - "Shut up, don't question Bush, and everything will be alright". Funny how the only Democrats who won elections were the NON appeasers.

2004 - If Kerry loses this one, blame falls ENTIRELY into the lap of these bastards. They got the candidate they wanted. They are writing his scripts.
