Check out this cartoon that was run in Richard Mellon Scaife's filthy rag
the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. What do you think would be the reaction if a similar cartoon was run if Cheney needed major heart surgery again? In Cheney's case, however, the lack of a heart would be pretty accurate.

1. Got an email address for his boss?
I'm already typing up my accolades. :P

2. In Cheney's case
some one would be there with a mallet and a stake to be sure he stays dead.
its the only way to be sure.

3. This is outrageous
It would be bad enough if it just referenced a heart, but to make it personal to Hillary -- who has stood with Bill, and was at the hospital with Bill all this time is outrageous.

Republicans continually slam Bill even though he and Hillary patched things up (this is another example of taking a positive - that they didn't divorce, but worked things out, which should make them stronger in people's eyes and turning it into a negative).

Yet somehow, Newt, Bob Dole, Joe Scarborough, Ronald Reagan and all the other guys who did not work it out are good guys.

5. Only lousy cartoons have to lable the characters. Relax.
A FReeper type stealing signs, kicking a woman when she's down or pulling a womans hair would have been a better "hook" Delivering the "He has a Heart?" line.

But we have wit and a knack for irony on our side.
All they have is nastiness and bad artwork they have to lable.

6. Remember this is the newspaper that employs Colin McNichols,
the guy who Teresa told to "shove it".

The Trib is the only major newspaper covering Westmoreland County, which adjoins Allegheny County, where Pittsburgh is located. The Trib has eaten up every other independent newspaper.

I swear there has been a visible shift to the right in the political leanings of the residents of Westmoreland County since Scaife's rag has monopolized the print media here.

7. that, i think, is the crux of it.
all these strong, "manly," conservative types are, ultimately, scared sh*tless of an intelligent woman like hillary.

look at the ones they admire -- elizabeth dole (whose hair looked an awful lot like one of hillary's old styles at the convention), pickles bush, lynne cheney. nice enough, but wouldn't dare have an opinion of their own.
