The White House site has his press conference after the G8 summit June 10th.

But then I found this (don't know anything about the source).

YellowTimes.org) -- Democratic Presidential nominee John F. Kerry seems to be evading any confrontation with the media. According to journalists who have been tracking Kerry along the campaign trail, the senator has not held a formal press conference since August 9, some two weeks before the last time President Bush met with the press.

But yet the press has its "Kerry is avoiding the press" talking points in hand.

1. I've seen a lot of right-wingers in the blogosphere yammering about this
"Why is Kerry avoiding the press, what is he trying to hide", etc, etc. What about Bush, I mean hello???

4. Not just Bush, also the entire power base in the administration
All the extremists are invisible. Cheney, Rumsfeld et al are missing in action.

Instead, their convention featured helpful idiots such as Zell Miller and Rudy Giuliani in prime spots that actually overshadowed Bush and Cheney.

Colin Powell and Condi Rice have been making the rounds after having been barred from the convention. They were on the Sunday propaganda shows, but we all know they are now third-tier players in this administration.

Obviously they are keeping a lid on it.

And, by the way, the press conferences have been replaced by "Ask Mr. President Anything (as long as it can be answered at a third-grade level)".

5. True Condi did finally pop up this weekend but mostly
it has been Dan Bartlet and Rove even popped his head out for a while ( for a Britt Hume interview).
