To those who say "My candidate is the only one who can beat Bush":
Karl Rove would like to thank you for perpetuating the myth that W is virtually unbeatable.

Last time I'd checked Bush had lied to get us into a war that is now going badly (to say the least), ignored warnings pre-9/11, forced the EPA to lie about air quality in NYC after the attack, has lost more jobs since any president since Hoover, has historic deficits stretching as far as the eye can see, etc, etc, etc. The list of his liabilities grows with each passing day.

Any of our candidates (even Lieberman, who I personally can't stand) is more qualified to be President than the oaf currently residing in the WH.

Look, Rove's an ass, but he's good at what he does. Let's not make his job any easier shall we?

2. Whats up LeftCoast!
I agree with you. What I would like to see is "My candidate can beat Bush by the widest margin".

I think this is the first time I have seen you online in a while. But I have hardly been in DU all summer. Just got my internet set up.

3. Good, but what about my candidate will undo the most of
what Bush has wraught on this country? If we all know any democrat can win, then why aren't we thinking in terms of undoing the most of Bush's damage? In my mind Kucinich is the candidate who would do that.

Now that school's started I'll probably be here less though. :(

What was keeping you so busy this summer? Fun stuff I hope!
