DISGUSTING Repuke attack!
I was pumping gas when I looked over at the pump and noticed THIS taped on it:

Democrats and Liberals want

Gay rights and marriage

God out of our pledge to the flag

Abortion at will

Gun Control

Ten commandments out of our courtrooms

"In God we trust" off of our money

Why would you vote for that?!!!!!

VOTE REPUBLICAN
Vote morally correct

I was so disgusted that I tore it off the pump and was fuming the entire way home.
It's the "vote morally correct" part that REALLY gets me. Yes, it's so very moral to bash people because of their sexual orientation and advocate the killing of Muslim people.
Not to mention the reason we want gun control- so fucked up people like them can't get a gun and go shoot up the nearest Planned Parenthood.
Hello, separation of church and state, you assholes?
I'm so mad! :grr:

5. No, it was only on one.
Which is why I didn't go in the store raising hell. I have a feeling it was put up there by some Repuke customer.

6. Before the Iraq invasion every gas station on a major street
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 12:56 PM by proud patriot
in my town was hit with vandalism by a RWer
...Wall paper pasted a flyer to a pump at each station .

The flyer had the "sign of an American Chicken" with
a peace sign .

I noticed it at one station then another , so I went
on a crusade to inform each and every station that
they had been vandalized.

7. "Attack?"
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 12:51 PM by UdoKier
I won't disagree with disgusting, but some crackpot sticks a paper on a gas pump & it's an "attack?"

I was expecting a new Rovian slime attack on Kerry.

Also, I didn't see where it advocates killing muslims. Maybe you left that out, but if you're just assuming - well, I don't like words being put into my mouth - it's always best to be accurate.

There are fundie nuts everywhere. I even see their stupid bumper stickers here in San Francisco. Take it with a grain of salt, and maybe put up your own little message the next time you're at the gas pump, and make sure it has your favorite liberal website on it.

If it's any comfort, most people see crazy stuff like that (or the lefty stickers I put up for that matter), and blow it off.

They're more interested in the cola ad with Britney Spears in a thong...

9. I'm not assuming.
They just salivate over the Iraq war. They don't give a fuck about all the innocent people that die, because don't they all have it coming to them, the ragheads? THAT's an advocation, in my opinion.

8. Wow they are really sticking it to the dems...
Democrats and Liberals want

(Gay rights and marriage)

Who gives a shit.. I just want a job so I can provide for my family..What gays do has very little impact in my future.. Being as I am Catholic if you are not married in a Catholic church your marriage is not truly recognized by God.. So they can say they're married, but according to Catholic law they're not..

(God out of our pledge to the flag)

another i COULD CARE LESS ISSUE.. the FACTS ARE THAT IT WAS INSERTED IN THE 50'S AND IT REALLY DOESN'T AFFECT FEEDING MY FAMILY EITHER WAY... If these repukes weren't such morons they would read why Jefferson opposed inserting God all over the constitution..

(Abortion at will)

I say we hold a vote of only women and let them decide this issue....

(GUN Control)

When you live in an urban area you really don't want AK-47's on the street..But there are repukes who favored the assault weapons ban..

(en commandments out of our courtrooms)

Were they ever allowed in the courtroom?I just want the repukes to start living by the ten comandments..Once they do that then w3e can talk about where to display them

(In God we trust" off of our money)

Really? when did someone propose this??

(VOTE REPUBLICAN(
(Vote morally correct)

The Christian right is neither..

10. apparently morality in that idiot's world
only consists of

1. legislating the right to hate gays in every conceivable way
2. telling women what they can and can't do with their bodies
3. forcing religion down the throats of every American
4. the right to shoot whomever they disagree with

vote correctly for stupidity!

inbreeding will get you everywhere these days.

11. It still amazes me
That people actually believe the repubs are "morally correct". Pretty much everything they do is immoral, and the people who support them are the ones that get hurt. The repub leadership is only after wealth and power, and they won't let anything get in their way. If thousands of human beings have to die in order to increase their profits, then so be it. I fail to see how that can be considered "morally correct".

And not only could you easily argue that the repubs are not "morally correct" about any of the issues listed here, the real kicker is the republican party core couldn't care less about them. They use them as wedge issues to win the votes of ignorant people.
