Bush's Bummer of a Summer

Summer is supposed to be fun, but the Bush administration has made this the worst summer I have ever had. There is a dark cloud hanging over this country and over my life thanks to the WORST PRESIDENT EVER.

I've made futile attempts to disengage for a day or two, but it's impossible. Anyone with a pulse should be sickened over the direction these assholes are taking this country.

I want my life back. We deserve to have our country back!

I'm tired of waking up every morning with this sucker-punch feeling in my gut. I'm tired of waking up every morning thinking I better call my congressman to stay weighed in on issues I want him to be vigilant about (like advancing everything bush opposes and opposing everything bush advances). I'm sick of it. I'm sick of hearing the news every day and it's just worse and worse and more and more nauseating and disheartening because of the way bush and his henchmen are mangling this country. Mangling this Constitution. Mangling this Bill of Rights. Mangling this economy. Mangling this, and the entire planet's future. Just mangling everything. Every day's a new low. I want my country back, too, Stevendsmith! I'm with ya.

I think there's more people that are just as concerned as you but it's in the interest of these corporate criminals (including the media) to keep us uninformed as to just how many of "us" exist. I happen to be volunteering for Dean but I will continue to volunteer for whoever gets the nomination.

We are headed toward a fascist, authoritarian state.

Out of fear, we have given the administrative branch and the right wing way too much power. They will never give it up.

although I had a couple days in the great outdoors where I heard nothing but the leaves shaking on the trees. Our summer's may have been bad but ole chimp boy got to hang out at his made-for-tv-ranch. Someday, the reckoning will come. Oh joy!
