(re: Religious freedom: When is someone going to stand up and say...)
The suggestion that religion (No specific, none specified) has outlived its usefulness and that intellectual evolution should take us beyond the superstitions of the past (worshiping the sun, fire, Olympic gods, etc)garners a quick deletion here in General Discussion. Twice. No lock... Just quietly disappeared.
Should thoughts that are different from the mainstay be deleted as quickly as possible? Especially when it tilts at some may consider Government sponsored superstitions?
We've got one of the greatest forums for the exchange of ideas and thoughts here. There are tons of diverse opinions. It's a big tent, if something isn't to your liking, don't read it or give it credence. But please don't silence a voice just because it is different from your own.
