How reliable is this guy as a source?
http://www.hardylaw.net/Truth_About_Bowling.html

David T. Hardy...has anyone ever heard of him before? The article on Columbine is too lengthy to read thoroughly and contains too many links to check in a short time, and I'm in the middle of a "conversation" on Columbine, with a right-wing big time liberal hater.

Help, please! And thanks in advance.

1. I know that he is an attorney and a strong advocate for rights to own guns
He also was looking into the WACO mess and spoke to one of the subcommittees on it in defense of Koresh.

That is all that comes to mind, sorry for being sketchy.

2. I've never heard of him before, but
I took a quick look at the site you provided and he looks like a right-wing wacko! Actually, he looks to be exactly as you describe the person with whom you are currently having a conversation on Columbine.

How do you keep your cool when discussing important issues such as this one with people like the person you describe? I find that amazing!

3. HardyLaw is what all the anti Moore sites use as proof
So that should send off warning bells. Hell, that revoke-the-oscar site based its whole argument off HardyLaw.

Even taken at face value, the sum total of their case is that he edited Heston's speeches to make him look bad, and thats about it. They say he inflated the numbers of shootings in other countries and the US, but their main issue is how they made Heston look.

So stop and consider that their main problem is that Moore made Charlton Heston look bad and that should provide some perspective.

4. He's a lawyer who works for the NRA
from what I've heard and read. Not 'works for the NRA', but represents them in instances. I do know for fact he works alot of pro-gun cases.

5. One more thing just popped into this murky brain of mine
I remember Kelly taking the position that McVeigh was extreme but necessary.

What was that saying I heard today? A few tacos shy of a combo plate?
